Cookies & Privacy

Avalo Home we want to protect your privacy and security and it's important to us that you feel as safe and comfortable as possible using our site.

What are cookies?

To provide the best experience of our site, we use cookies. If you are not comfortable with cookies you can disable them on your browser settings but before doing so you should be aware that it will compromise your ability to use the website and your experience of Avalo Home.

By continuing to use our website you are deemed to have opted into receiving cookies from Avalo Home and acknowledge that we will access them each time you visit our website. To opt out of this service, please refer to the help function on your browser for more information. There has been a lot of misinformation in the press recently about cookies and their function. Cookies cannot carry viruses, and cannot install malware. They cannot harm your computer and do not contain any personal information about you, your name, address or other contact details or your payment methods.

Cookies are simply small text files that are stored on your computer by our website to make it work for you. There are three main types of cookies we use, a "session cookie" for a one off visit or a "persistent cookie" for repeat visits, used for example when you create an account and store preferences or similar information and a "secure cookie" that always encrypts sensitive information.

Cookies are designed to hold a small amount of data specific to your particular use of our website only. This makes your use of our website faster, more efficient and easier. For example, it is our use of cookies that let us keep up with your current shopping session so that you can come back to your basket at any time. Without cookies, the shopping cart won't work for you and you can't use the checkout. Cookies also allow our site to deliver an experience tailored to you and your preferences, showing you products similar to the ones you are browsing. Cookies collect information about browsing and purchasing behaviour, including information about pages viewed, products purchased and your use of the website. Our carefully approved suppliers may also set cookies during your visit for remarketing purposes.

If you don’t want to receive cookies, you can modify your browser so that it notifies you when cookies are sent to it or you can refuse cookies altogether. You can also delete cookies that have already been set. The help function on your browser will assist you further.

We have an open, honest and clear policy about your privacy when using our website and if you have any questions about cookies, how to disable them or what they are used for, please contact
